Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Flashie ("the App"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to the terms of this EULA and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions: Weekly ($2.99/week), Monthly ($4.99/month), and Yearly ($24.99/year).
  • A free trial period may be offered. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • No refunds are provided for the unused portion of any subscription period, in accordance with Apple's refund policies.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the flashcards and content you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.

5. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate flashcards from your input. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or suitability. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated flashcards.

6. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties
  • Use the App to create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to bypass any security measures or access restrictions

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates this EULA or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Changes to This EULA

We reserve the right to modify this EULA at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
